PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: new blawg

Hi guys!!
I've been super lazy with this blog recently because I've been travelling non stop (aw I know poor me lol) but hopefully will return to this little corner of the internet with a decent post shortly !!!

In the meantime, I'm going to give my newly made blog a little shameless plug because hey why not

It's called The Trendship Test and I'm actually pretty frickin excited about it because I feel like I haven't been adventurous enough with this blog!

The Trendship Test is a play on the idea of a friendship test and it's basically going to be me trying loads of different trends and giving my thoughts and basically being weird af which is always heapsa fun #yay

confession: the last picture is from a different occasion but I am an outfit recycling cretin so apologieees:(( 

BUTTT who really cares because I AM LOVING THIS. America is huge and crazy and completely fascinating, and it has also been so hot so MORE apologies for the very boring outfit BUT I'd like to say something about these shorts. You know when you're about to leave to go somewhere but your outfit isn;t working and you're ten seconds away from getting screamed at by your mum/sister/dad/other sister because you're makING EVERYONE LATE OH MY GOD HURRY UP

So you grab a random pair of shorts from a random cupboard and only when you're halfway down the stairs do you realise they are perfect and fit perfectly and are so comfy wow

Yes. I am talking about these shorts.

Moving on, here's an exciting list of exciting things I've seen in America so far:

I hate to sound like a massive ignoramus but I thought they only existed in things like the Simpsons ((no h8 pls cuz before writing this post I confirmed with several other people that this is a fairly common misconception))

It even has SCHOOLBUS written on the front I am in love<3333

Things that have stopped me from posting:

- the fact that summer turns me into a lazy outfitless slob

- the lack of internet

- my general inadequateness :((

This outfit was the result of me being forcibly removed from my bed to go to lunch with fam which also explains why there are only three photos, as the mother was getting stressy because we were "going to be late" (we were late anyway soOoOo..)

Anyway, it has been so hot here but for SOME REASON I am still pale>:(

Also I've been keeping a summer scrapbook and documenting every day, which has been cooool- I'm leaving for New York in three days which is CRAZY so I'm going to be documenting everything! We're staying in an air bnb in Chicago (my idea ur welcome father xo) and I'm so exciiiited- I'll keep you updated on that one:)

As you can probably tell I am finally finally on holiday and it is a m a z i n g
Apologies for the shoddy outfit and generally unruly appearance but I love feeling like I have absolutely nothing to do (which is of course a lie- I can feel my common app essay breathing down my neck as I type)

I have so few summer clothes it's a bit of a joke, but hopefully I'm going to be getting some new clothes in the US- if you know any good thrift shops in Chicago let me knowww!! I would be v v grateful

Apologies for the lack of proper outfit posts, but I had the loveliest picnic today and was too busy eating cheese to think about what I was wearing. My friend and I walked up to the very last field and got ambushed by cows halfway through (said cows can be seen down below) which was nice. I've always been a bit suspicious of animals at picnics ever since a monkey stole my ice cream

In other news, I've recently rediscovered The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and they are awesome!! Their songs are so dreamy and light and I luv it

As of today, gay people across America can get married in any state they wish be it Maryland Massachusetts or Michigan and I have decided to celebrate by literally melting in front of the camera.  

I tried to be as colourful as possible (which is harder said than done when you have a wardrobe stuffed with school uniform and not much else) and am also proudly sporting a badge the size of my face- a close up of said badge can be seen down below:

It kind of feels like I'm living in a dystopian fantasy right now, because this is something that I did not see happening anytime soon. I have never been so proud of America ever.

I have become really good at wasting my own time which is nice.. I accomplished a grand total of nothing today, which makes today the same as yesterday and the day before and the day before wooo three cheers for being useless am I right

I'm wearing a black t-shirt over a black slip dress- I bought this shirt at a Chinese market as a joke when I was in year 8 but now I wear it all the time. My pal Legolas got the dress for me as a birthday present this year and it is one of the many loves of my life- the hem is edged with black lace and I'd been looking for something like it for about a hundred years before she got it for me.

More Ezra Miller because why not hey

Also the fact that he was Dr Frank-n-Furter for a bit makes me love him even more if that's even possible

Finally here is Richard Yates because I'm reading his biography and I love him
